Hire of Church and other rooms
Church
St Peter's church is a beautiful space in St Albans city centre. It is available to hire for concerts, conferences, talks, dinners and other events. The nave can seat over 250 people and is a flexible space in terms of seating configuration. Our new underfloor heating ensures a consistent warm temperature year round. Octagon
Our church hall (Octagon) is connected to the church and has an adjoining kitchen. This light airy room is suitable for a range of events including birthday parties, receptions, talks and meetings. The room can seat 60 people for a meeting , 40-50 seated around tables and 80 standing. The Octagon is located near to the toilets including the accessible toilet and has an outside door with access directly to the churchyard.
The hire prices for 2025 are £100 for 3 hours or £35 an hour.

Use of the newly refurbished kitchen is included in the hire price.

Library
​
The Library can accommodate 12 to 15 for a meeting or up to 20 as a concert green room.
​
The library is close to the toilets including the accessible toilet and has access directly to the churchyard.
​
The cost to hire the library is £48 for 3 hours or £18 an hour. This includes use of the Kitchen.
